Levi's Favorite Sport!

Levi loves going to the bank...they have a little play area full of toys for kids. Today they had a new toy out and he was all over it! He was so funny. He kept putting the ball through the hoop over and over and over again, laughing each time! I think he's picked his favorite sport!

Our First Snow!

Well, Levi and Daddy experienced their first snow! We got back to town on Tuesday afternoon, the cold weather already a big difference from the nice warm Florida weather, and then on Saturday we woke up to it snowing...and that's what it did all day! I think we got about 8 inches total by Saturday night!

We went over to Grandma Sherri's house that afternoon to have pizza and put up the Christmas tree with Cristy, Kayla and my mom. We had a ton of fun, but the best part of all of that though, in my opinion, was the 45 minutes we all spent playing "Name That Tune: Christmas Edition!" I think we exhausted every Christmas song we knew!

Afterwards we all bundled up and went outside for some fun in the snow. Levi is so cute when he's got on all his gear...he can barely walk, and when he does he wobbles back and forth from one leg to the other. He reminds me of a little marshmallow puff! :o) We had so much fun sledding and making snow angels! I think Levi had the most fun of all...the whole time we were pulling him around he was saying "Oooooo" and waving. He is so entertaining!

Our Vacation to Florida

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We enjoyed all of the Thanksgivings we got to spend with our families!

Thanks to everyone who let us stay in their homes...the next time you come take a family vacation to Minnesota you're more than welcome in ours! :o)

We couldn't have asked for a better vacation...we got to see all of our families and lots of our friends and we had a GREAT time! As silly as it sounds, it was so wonderful to be able to sleep in! It was so relaxing to not have any obligations for two weeks! And of course, we made stops at all of our favorite local restaurants...yum!
We especially loved meeting our new nephew Aidan - so cute! And Chris taught us how to make bread and sew on a button (yes, I'm 23 and just learned how to sew on a button)!

Levi had a ton of fun playing with his cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents. And of course, we all really enjoyed the warm weather!

Levi's First Haircut!

Well, I finally brought myself to do it...I went and got Levi a haircut! Grandma Sherri met us at "Kid's Kuts"...a really cute little place that specializes in, well, kids cuts. They had toys all over the place and lots of fun things for the kids to look at hanging from the ceiling. Levi really didn't know what to think of the whole thing.

When we first got there they let him pick out the animal he wanted to sit on. He picked the frog :o) Then she put the apron around his neck and sprayed his hair with water. The whole time he just sat there, straight-faced...so serious! Despite the TV playing the movie Cars, he stayed this way until the very end. And wouldn't you know that by the time she had finished (not even 4 minutes later) he was ready to stay and play! We were so proud of him - he did a great job...no crying or screaming or even wiggling! He was very cooperative!

She saved the first few snips of hair for me to take home, and they even gave him a "My First Haircut" certificate...super cute! I'd have to say, overall, I'm glad we went. Although he looks so much more grown up, he's even more handsome!

Levi loves grocery shopping!

We went grocery shopping today and Levi had the best time! As we went around the store, he just kept kicking his feet around and throwing his arms up in the air and saying "aaaeeeeee!" It was super cute to me, and while alomst everyone smiled or even giggled back at him, I'm afraid there were a few of our fellow shoppers that weren't so impressed :o) Oh well, we had a great time!

Trick-or-Treating

Last night was Levi's first time trick-or-treating on Halloween! He dressed up as a Lion (for Grandma's benefit party his daddy was the Scarecrow, I was Dorothy, and his little teddy bear was the Tin Man)! He was the cutest little guy!

We think he had a good time...although he was pretty somber most of the time! :o) Since it was sooo cold out, instead of taking him all around the neighborhood, we took him up to a local church that was doing a "Trunk-or-Treat" activity. It was super cute! They also had all kinds of games, refreshments, a costume contest, and a cute "Photo Studio" that had a little background where you could sit to take your own pictures. Levi has always been intrigued by other little kids, so I think his favorite part was seeing all the kids dressed up in their costumes!

He kept throwing his candy bucket on the ground...we were afraid that he was going to dump out all the candy, but once we got to the first car and they gave him that first piece of candy, he just kept the bucket in his lap and let them fill it up! It was really cute to watch! Once we got home, he took out each piece of candy, one by one! He would look at it, nod his head, put it on the ground, and reach for the next piece. We dumped it all out for him to look at, and he was soooo happy! If only he knew what candy was all about!

Grandma Sherri even had fun staying at our house and giving out candy! :o)

We all had a great time! Hope you did too!

Happy Halloween!
