It's official folks!

We have our c-section scheduled...woo-hoo! Not that I'm all that excited about the c-section, but we CAN'T WAIT to meet our little John Morgan.

We spoke to our doctor last week and she informed us that John Morgan's tummy (at 36 1/2 weeks) measured that of a 41 week old! So, at full term, we'd be trying to have a baby whose tummy is as big around as a 44 1/2 week old...I decided "no thanks!"

So, at 10:30 am on Monday April 7th, we'll be bringing him into the world! I secretly keep hoping that maybe I'll go into labor before that, and attempt the VBAC...afterall, he'd probably only be around 9 or 9 1/2 pounds this week! Oh yes, did we tell you that based on the ultrasound, at 40 weeks he'd weigh between 9 1/2 and 12 pounds!?! Luckily, we'll be delivering at 39 weeks, and who knows how accurate those ultrasounds are anyway! Joe-z is guessing 10 pounds 4 ounces. I, on the otherhand, maintain that he's going to come out at a nice little 7 pounds. We'll see! You can take a look and judge for yourself!

This week will be spent preparing the house, making sure everything is ready for our little

buddy...hope you enjoy yours too!

Jump!

So, Levi has been jumping (or so he says) for a while now...it's actually been bouncing. Well, out of the blue he squatted real low then jumped up for real! He was so proud of himself for the 1/2 an inch of air he cleared :o) Now he tries to jump all day long, it's adorable.

Levi's new favorite food...

FRUIT SNACKS!!!

All you need to do to make this boy happy is give him a pack of fruit snacks...he'll be overjoyed! Just make sure you don't empty out the whole pack in front of him...he'll shovel 'em in all at once!

Easter Fun

We had a great Easter! We spent the evening at Grandma's house with the family and Levi had a blast finding the eggs they hid for him! We didn't think he'd catch on, but he was running around looking everywhere and would scream with glee every time he found a new one! So cute!

Then we had our own Easter last night for FHE. It was a fun time. Levi doesn't really get the whole Easter Basket thing, but he likes playing with the gifts he got :o)

After Levi was asleep Joe-Z and I had our own FHE where we did the Resurrection Eggs activity. We each hid eggs for the other to find and then did the lesson that went along...it was really fun! And we sang all the Easter hymns since it only comes once a year :o)

Hope you all had a good one too!

Yay, Cake Class!

So my Christmas present from Joe-Z was my choice of classes from JoAnn Fabric's "Creative University." I chose to take the Wilton cake decorating class. It's a lot of fun, although it's much more time-consuming then I ever would've thought! I'm so excited to be able to make cakes for friends and family for their birthdays and especially for the kids while they're are growing up...I think it will be SO fun!

My final class is next Saturday, so you can see the final project then, but here are my works of art completed so far:

(Not So) Little John Morgan

Well, here's a preview of our "little" baby boy. We had an ultrasound today to check on the growth of the baby. When we got there, the technician said "So, you're here because your doctor wants to check the growth?" I said "Yes Ma'am." She said "Okay, is she thinking large or small?" I couldn't help but laugh out loud and say "Umm, large. But thanks though, you're sweet." It was pretty funny. And for the results:

Not that you could guess, but here comes another big one folks! We're at 36 1/2 weeks, and he weighs in at 8lbs 7 oz. Now, that's give or take a half pound, so he can really be anywhere between 8 and 9 lbs right now. They say babies will gain anywhere from half a pound to a pound per week the last month, so who knows where he'll end up!

As you can imagine, this upsets our VBAC plans in a big (no pun intended) way! That's okay, we'll just wait for our dainty little girl that will come along and allow for a successful VBAC! Lol. :o)

I don't have another appointment until April 1st, at which time we'll schedule a date for the C-section, but we're thinking it will probably be around the 6th...they like to schedule a C-section for 39 weeks so you don't "accidentally" go into labor.

Seeing his little face on the ultrasound was so wonderful...we just can't wait to meet him! From what we can see, he's got the same cheeks that Levi had (actually, has) only bigger! :o) The picture is looking at his face from the front, not a profile, but just kind-of from the side. Can't wait to see what he actually looks like! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!
