A Matter of Perspective

So, I found a great post tonight on the role of a homemaker, something I've been thinking about a lot lately. It's so nice to hear (or read, lol) about a situation you can relate to and gain perspective from others who have already crossed the road you're just coming up to. That's why I love this church. I love Relief Society and the opportunity that a group of women have to get together each week to sit in a room and share stories and advice and experience and bounce ideas off of eachother. And, since I'm in Young Women right now, I love blogging, and the blogger world, and the chance it gives us to learn from others in a non-traditional sense!

So take 2 minutes, this post is very worth your time!

Um.. yeah, don't know how to feel right now, after reading this post. It hit home, as it does for a lot of us, I am sure. I was and still kind of like being able to balance a little of both. I do know what an amazing blessing it is to be home with my children, but it is also an amazing blessing to see the light in and be able to react with other children and youth. I love subbing on a schedule that works for my family. She is right, if you do too much, you definitely feel things slipping on the home front! I am thankful Heavenly Father gives each of us our agency to choose what works for us and our FAMILIES!
